What size swim spa should I buy?

Length drives swim quality more than any other spec. Under 14 ft suits resistance training and family use, 15-17 ft is the practical sweet spot for adult lap swimming, and 18-20 ft models are for serious swimmers or households wanting a separate hot tub zone.

What is the difference between a swim spa and a hot tub?

A swim spa is a long, heated tank built to generate a current you swim against; a hot tub is a shorter, hotter vessel built for seating and jet therapy. Swim spas typically run 80-90F for exercise, hot tubs 100-104F.

Which swim spa brands should I compare?

The main manufacturers include Endless Pools, Michael Phelps Signature Swim Spas by Master Spas, PDC Spas, TidalFit, Hydropool, Jacuzzi, Bullfrog, and American Whirlpool. Availability is dealer-driven, so your local options usually narrow the list quickly.

What is a dual-zone swim spa and do I need one?

A dual-zone swim spa splits the cabinet into a swim area and a separate hot tub area, each with its own heater and controls, so you can keep one at 86F and the other at 102F. It costs more and takes more space than a single-zone model.
