Replacement Parts
Which brand is the easiest to get replacement parts for? My husband is handy and should be able to fix any issues we encounter, but I want to know he'll have access to any replacement parts we need. Also curious how difficult it is to get these parts? Thanks
Routine Maintenance Costs
I'm looking for a ballpark estimate of what we'll spend per month on everything for maintenance and energy - electric bill, chemicals, filters, etc. I just want to know how much I'm going to end up spending after I actually purchase a tub. I know from research that this will very depending on the size, etc. But can you give me any kind of a range of what to expect?
Bubbles in the water
My kids got in the hot tub with my husband briefly the other night and the water is foamy and has a lot of bubbles. I realized I had recently washed their swimsuit in the washing machine and assume the bubbles are a result of that. How do I get rid of it? And also I'm wondering if you're just not supposed to ever wash swimsuits or this will happen? Sounds like a stupid question but I have no idea.
Nature2 stick and Bromine
I just fill a new hot tub 5 days ago and let the Nature2 mineral stick in it while I used bromine sanitizer. I realized u shouldn’t have done that and took the stick out. Do I need to drain and refill since it was only 5 days? My hot tub also has an ozone system. Is ok to use bromine sanitizer with this?
How much can I negotiate?
I've shopped four different brands in five different stores and am having a hard time making a decision. I've come to the conclusion that my favorite hot tubs at each stop are pretty similar, and my decision is likely going to come down to price. My biggest question is, how much should I expect to be able to negotiate off the sticker price? I've even shopped two separate Master Spas stores and gotten two different prices (almost $3k apart!) on the same model. Is there an industry standard markup or anything like that? How much of a discount constitutes a good deal?
