    Nature2 stick and Bromine

I just fill a new hot tub 5 days ago and let the Nature2 mineral stick in it while I used bromine sanitizer. I realized u shouldn’t have done that and took the stick out. Do I need to drain and refill since it was only 5 days? My hot tub also has an ozone system. Is ok to use bromine sanitizer with this?

What hot tub do you have? The biggest problem you're likely to run into is the Nature2 stick losing its effectiveness. The bromine will inactivate the silver ions in your Nature2, likely leading to cloudy water and a replacement Nature2 stick. The manufacturer does recommend a drain and refill, which is probably a good idea because you don't want trace amounts of bromine in your water inactivating future Nature2 sticks. There are a bunch of mineral systems like this, and all of them discourage folks from using bromine.

Bromine and ozone work great together, no issues there. It's really just the Nature2 and Bromine that don't work well together, any other combination of chlorine, nature2 and ozone work well together.
