The brand that gained the most ground with shoppers this week wasn't one of the usual leaders. Interest in Nordic hot tub model pages ran 48% above its four-week average, and that lines up with what Nordic owners have told us about price: the typical Nordic buyer paid thousands less than the typical hot tub buyer on this site.
Nordic climbs the list
Nordic placed three models in this week's top 13 most-viewed hot tubs:
- The Nordic Retreat SE, a 5-seater, tied for third. Over the previous four weeks it sat around 36th.
- The Nordic Jubilee LS, a 6-seater with 46 jets, also tied for third. It was second last week, so this one looks like it's sticking.
- The Nordic Retreat MS moved from around 43rd to a tie for 11th.
As a brand, Nordic ranked third on the site this week, behind Hot Spring and Bullfrog.
What Nordic owners actually paid
22 buyers have reported what they paid for a Nordic hot tub. The median is $8,250, and the middle half paid between $7,000 and $8,999. Across all 670 buyer reports on Hot Tub Hunt, the median is $13,000, so the typical Nordic buyer paid about $4,750, or 37%, less.
Here are the Nordic models with more than a couple of reports:
| Model | Seats | Median paid | Buyer reports |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jubilee LS | 6 | $6,999.50 | 6 |
| Crown XL | 6 | $8,999 | 5 |
| Jubilee SE | 6 | $9,202 | 4 |
Those are small samples, so treat them as a guide, not a quote. And a lower price isn't automatically a better deal. When you're weighing a budget tub against a premium one, put the jets, insulation and warranty side by side and ask the dealer what's included in the price. If those line up for how you'll use it, six seats for around $7,000 to $9,000 is a real option.
The rest of the top of the list
The Master Spas LSX 900 was the most-viewed hot tub for the third week running. Buyers have paid a median of $17,997.50 for it (10 reports). The Jacuzzi J-345 came in second, up from around fifth over the previous four weeks, with a median paid of $14,900 (9 reports).
Hot Spring put five models in the top 15: the Vanguard, Grandee, Relay, Jetsetter LX and Jetsetter. Grandee buyers paid a median of $18,774.50 (12 reports), about 29% below its $26,499 MSRP. Vanguard buyers paid $20,100 (6 reports), about 20% below its $24,999 MSRP.
By brand, Hot Spring held the top spot and ran 11% above its four-week average. Bullfrog was up 34% and American Whirlpool 58%, while Master Spas and Jacuzzi each cooled by about 11–12%.
People asking for prices are ready
Over the past four weeks, 71% of shoppers who asked us for pricing said they're ready to buy now, up from 63% in the four weeks to October 18 that I reported in mid-October. Another 25% said one to three months. Shoppers are still starting small, too: 80% of seat-filter choices over the same four weeks were for 2–5 seats, about the same as the 79% I reported in mid-October.
Prices across the site
No new buyer price reports came in this week, so the recent numbers haven't moved. Over the last 90 days the median price paid was $11,500, with the middle half paying $9,850–$15,400 (103 reports). Of the 21 recent reports for models with a published MSRP, 18 came in under it. I keep the running numbers in our hot tub market report.
That quiet week is also a request. If you bought a hot tub this year, tell us what you paid. It's anonymous, and every report makes these numbers more useful for the next shopper.
How we count: "most-viewed" ranks models by US shopper sessions that opened the model's page from October 26 to November 1, excluding known bots, compared with the previous four weeks. Brand changes count each shopper-model pair. Buying timelines and seat-filter choices cover October 5 – November 1. Prices are approved buyer reports; model and brand medians use every report for that model or brand, and the 90-day window is August 4 – November 1.
